Field Trip Report for Saturday, June 17, 2006 (Box Elder County Owl Alley)

Here's our car's list from last night's very successful evening field trip to see owls in Box Elder Co. We were so busy stopping for multiple
shrikes and curlew along the way that we drove Dick Hurren ("Mr. Owl", our trip leader) crazy. We just made it to the owl area before dark set in. We
saw many burrowing and short-eared owls, several up close and personal. We had 5 cars full of birders, and none were disappointed!
